If you’re looking to cancel your MyRAC breakdown renewal, the process is fairly straightforward. First of all, you'll need to contact MyRAC’s customer service team. There are several different ways to do this depending on how you’d like to contact them.
If you’d like to call, their phone number is 0333 2000 999, and the hours for their customer service call centre are 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
Alternatively, you can email their customer service team directly at email@example.com.
It's also possible to have a live chat with a customer service representative by visiting their website. You can do this by selecting the ‘Live Chat’ icon at the bottom right of the page.
For all contact methods, you'll need to provide your name, address, vehicle registration number and MyRAC membership number.
Once you’ve made contact, they will process your cancellation and provide you with a refund for any unused premium. If the policy has already been renewed, you may still be entitled to a refund for some of the unused premium.
It's important to note that if you cancel a policy within the cooling off period, you’ll receive a full refund. Any cancellations after the cooling off period will be subject to MyRAC’s terms and conditions.
