Slugterra is a Canadian animated television series created by Asaph Fipke. The series was produced by the Canadian company Nerd Corps Entertainment, a subsidiary of DHX Media. It premiered on Teletoon in Canada on September 3, 2012. In the United States, it started airing on Disney XD on October 15, 2013. Slugterra is about a group of slugs who can transform into Slug Weapons and are used to defeat evil. The main character, Eli Shane, is a young boy who dreams of becoming a Slugterra Slug Slayer.
